Kiril Miladinov was born in 1966 in Zagreb. He studied philosophy and German philology there. He has been working as a freelance translator ever since late 1980s. He has translated mostly works of classical German philosophy and works of its contemporary successors. He has translated around 40 books, among other works by Imanuel Kant, J. G. Fichte, F. W. J. Schelling, G. W. F. Hegel, Arnold Gehlen, Ernst Cassirer, Helmuth Plessner, Martin Heidegger, Hans Kelsen, Hans-Georg Gadamer, Georg Simmel, Karl Mannheim, Donald Davidson, Ulrich Beck, Wolfhart Pannenberg, Jochen Hörisch, Jan Assmann and Niklas Luhmann.
