An autobiographical story of the search for identity in different cultural worlds. The protagonist grows up in Bosnia and Herzegovina, spends his youth in Croatia and during the war flees to Norway. In the end he tries to return to Bosnia and Croatia, but realises that he no longer belongs to either of these worlds. Yet he finds that Norway is not a home either.
