Dijana Matković, writer, literary critic, journalist and translator, was born in Novo Mesto, Slovenia, in 1984. She was the first editor of the web portal Airbeletrina and wrote for newspapers and magazines such as Delo, Dnevnik, Le Monde Diplomatique and Playboy. In 2013 she founded the socio-critical portal Državljanska odgovornost and published her literary debut V imenu očeta [In the Name of the Father].
