Their names are Paula, Judith, Brida, Malika and Jorinde. They know each other because their paths have crossed. As teenagers they bore witness to the fall of the Wall. Where before there were restrictions, there now reigns uninhibited freedom. But freedom, they soon have to learn, is just another form of compulsion: a compulsion to choose.
