Daniela Krien, born in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern in 1975, grew up in a village in Vogtland (Saxony), and lives with her husband and two daughters in Leipzig. She studied cultural sciences and communication and media sciences and worked as a scriptwriter and cutter for amadelio film. Her publications include the novels Muldental (2014) and Die Liebe im Ernstfall (2019).
