Времето на ирвасите

Set in Belgrade in 1986, in a big city in the time of the nuclear catastrophe in Chernobyl – which was a sign of the coming apocalypse ad collapse of great socialist empires – Madžunkov’s novel tells a story of complicated relationships of two couples and of a imaginary search for Don Quixote. The search is a metaphor for our time: the time of lost values of Don Quixote: hopefulness and imagination.
