Преместен камен

The volume of poetry Преместен камен (Premesten kamen, 2007) was conceived during a residence stay in Vienna. Nikola Madžirov wrote all the poems published in it while away from Macedonia. He created a home for himself in the in-between: “When you see an empty plastic bag flying in the wind, then this bag is in the in-between. It moves, and a bird also moves, in order to be in-between. Such movements are the poetical foundation of my new book”.  Преместен камен was awarded the Hubert Burda Prize for East European Lyrics and the Macedonian Poetry Prize, Braka Miladinovci.
