In twelve stories about love and longing, everyday life and passion, the author discusses the problems of the man-woman relationship. Whilst the men live as “uncertain”, “weak” subjects with their “heads above the world” and collapse under the burden of their own macho mythology, the women live with “their heads under the world”, as “imaginary” people, who have not fulfilled themselves, who are looking for male reliability or who aspire to be “someone different”.
