Partizani by Jože Pirjevec is the first comprehensive monograph on the emergence and development of the partisan movement on the territory of the entire Kingdom of Yugoslavia. It encompasses the period from the attack by the German Wehrmacht on Yugoslavia in April 1941, followed by its dismemberment, all to the end of the second world war.
