Jože Pirjevec

Jože Pirjevec, born in Trieste in 1940, received his PhD in History from Ljubljana University in 1977. He has done research and taught at the Universities of Pisa, Trieste, and Padua. He is a member of the Slovenian Academy of Arts and Sciences. In 2011, he published a Tito biography, Tito in tovariši, an overview and collection of thirty years of his main research topic.
