In this anti-Utopia the author demythologises the assassination attempt on the Austrian heir to the throne in Sarajevo, which was celebrated for hundreds of years in Serbia. The author exposes a repressive society, corroded by the virus of nationalism. He poses the question, what can the individual take in from such a society, and poetically reflects on the consequences of manipulation by the state and of the systematic restriction of freedom. The novel is a provocative allegory about Serbia, which can also be transferred to other states.
