Kandže

This modern fairytale by Marko Vidojković is set in Belgrade, during the time of the citizen protests from 1996-1997. The main character, a law student, is a fanatical follower of the protest movement against election fraud. Hungry, in scuffed clothing and betrayed by the world, he resigns himself to the senselessness of life, and takes part in daily demonstrations where he throws himself into the most dangerous situations without thinking twice. But everything changes when he meets an unusual, brown-haired girl with cropped eyelashes…
