No one has followed and memorized his life more meticulously than his mother. When she dies, the son takes over her legacy and turns himself into an archivist of memory, following the trail of images that rise in front of his eyes. For Dragan Velikić, the act of remembering is always linked to places, that gradually form the map of a lifetime. He is once again a boy, new in Pula, just in from Belgrade. He explores the fragrant courtyards and meets the old watchmaker Maleša, who once repaired Tito’s watches and knows all the stories. Always, he is accompanied by his mother’s rigid interpretation of the world, from which he frees himself more and more with every step.
