At the age of nine years, in 1991, she has to flee from Vukovar. Very soon, her father has disappeared, she hopes daily for news from him. In the camp she makes new friendships and learns what puberty is. The book is a large document of self-assertion, full of humour and lightness, without false sentimentality.
