Isabelle and Jakob meet again at a party in Berlin on 11 September 2001. It’s been years since the last time they met. They fall in love, get married and get the chance to move to London. The two have everything a young, successful couple wants and needs, and yet they are left feeling empty. Helplessly, they watch their lives fall apart. Jakob is fascinated by his boss, Isabelle by Jim, their dealer. The underground currents of love and violence become more and more palpable, and the neighbour’s child Sara becomes their victim.
