Adam und Evelyn

Adam is a tailor by profession and lives in the GDR. The women love Adam, because he makes clothes for them, which make them beautiful and desirable. Adam loves beautiful women. And he loves Evelyn. When this woman catches him in flagranti in August 1989 with one of his ‘creatures’ she travels with a girlfriend and her West German cousin to Balaton in Hungary, instead of with Adam.  Adam pursues her. He would travel to the end of the world for Evelyn – and maybe that is what he will have to do as Hungary wants to open its border to the West. The forbidden fruit is suddenly within reach and everyone must make a decision.
