Wolfgang Benz

Wolfgang Benz, born in 1941 in Ellwangen/Jagst, studied History, Political Science and Art History in Frankfurt, Kiel and Munich. Until 1990 he was a Research Assistant at the Institute for Contemporary History, then he was Professor and Director of the Centre for Anti-Semitic Research at the Technische Universität Berlin until he received emeritus status. Wolfgang Benz is an author, editor and co-editor of numerous historical works, which are primarily concerned with the topics of national socialism and antisemitism.
