Selvedin Avdić

Selvedin Avdić was born in 1969 in Zenica, Bosnia and Herzegovina. He lives there and works as a writer and journalist. He is an editor at the online magazine zurnal.info and works for the Bosnian-Herzegovinian national radio. His first book, a collection of short stories Podstanari i drugi fantomi [Subtenants and Other Phantoms], was published in 2004. He wrote a travel guide to Zenica and a book of reportages on the women’s prison in the same town. His first novel Seven Terrors was published in 2010 and hs been translated to several languages.
