Marko Tomaš, born in Ljubljana in 1978, grew up in Mostar and Kljajićevo/Sombor. He is one of today’s most popular poets from the former Yugoslavia. He has published several volumes of poetry that have been translated into many foreign languages. After living in Sarajevo, Zagreb and Split he now resides in Mostar. He is the co-founder and editor of the magazine Kolaps and the eponymous book series as well as a driving force behind the music festival Beton in Mostar. In Split he managed the bookshop UTOPIA and was involved in the literary and musical programme of Ghetto Club. His writing has appeared in numerous magazines, including BH Dani, Glas Istre, Slobodna Dalmacija and Feral Tribune. He currently writes for zurnal.info, Lupiga and Urban magazin.
