Marion Poschmann

Marion Poschmann, born in Essen in 1969, studied German and Slavonic and now lives in Berlin. She has received numerous accolades for her prose and poetry. She has received the Peter Huchel Prize and the Ernst Meister Prize for Poetry; her novel Die Sonnenposition was shortlisted for the German Book Prize and won the Wilhelm Raabe Literature Prize in 2013. Her novel The Pine Islands was shortlisted for Man Booker International Prize in 2019.
