Ljiljana Ilić

Ljiljana Ilić, born in Belgrade in 1971, studied German at Belgrade University. After completing her studies she worked for several media outlets. In addition, she did literary translations from the German and English. She has translated Jenny Erpenbeck, Thomas Brussig, Leopold Szondi, Eva Völler, Miranda July and Robert Seethaler, among others. She also translates theatre plays. Ilić is a member of the Serbian Literary Translators’ Association.
