Jurica Pavičić

Jurica Pavičić, born in Split in 1965, is a Croatian writer, journalist, film and literary critic. He studied comparative literature and history at the University of Zagreb and has published several novels, including Ovce od gipsa (1997) and Nedeljnji prijatelj (2000). Ovce od gipsa was made into a film by Vinko Brešan. The film Svjedoci was awarded the Peace Film Prize at the Berlinale 2004. Pavičić works as a journalist for the Croatian daily newspaper Jutarnji list.
