Jelena Budimirović, born in 1982 in Belgrade, studied Serbian language and literature at the Philological Faculty of the University of Belgrade. She completed her Master’s degree in the Slovenian town of  Nova Gorica as part of her Cultural History module. She works as a terminologist at the Ministry for European Integration and conducts translation workshops for students of Slovene and members of the Slovenian Association “Sava” in Belgrade. Her translations from Slovene into Serbian include works by Florjan Lipuš (Boštjanov let), Gabriela Babnik (Intimno), Desa Muk (Panika), Jana Bauer (Groznić vila u Strašnoj šumi) Oto Luthar et al. (Povest istorijska misli), Alojz Ihan (Essay Hiljadu zdravica i jutro posle) as well as numerous academic texts.
