Ivana Šojat

Ivana Šojat, born in Osijek in 1971, spent many years in Belgium where she studied French. Her first volume of poetry was published in 2000, followed by her debut novel in 2002. Since then, she has published numerous novels, stories and essays. For her writing she has received several accolades. As a literary translator she has translated more than sixty books from the English and French.
