Dan Lungu

Dan Lungu, born in 1969 in Kreis Botoșani, is Lecturer in Sociology in Iași. He writes lyric poetry, short prose and novels and has received many awards for his works. With the foundation of the “Club 8” literary group he ensured movement in Romanian cultural life. Twelve writers stood up to the media supremacy of Bucharest and were successful. Dan Lungu’s stories have been translated into several languages.
