The protagonist has become a father for a second time. One night his little girl won’t stop crying, the next day he wonders if she’s still breathing. During the day, he finds himself stuck between nappies and bottles and his first child’s Playmobil. His wife is the main breadwinner. Yet he dreams of a life in a big house by the sea or of sex with other people. He is overwhelmed as a father, insecure as a man. Why exactly does he find it so difficult to fulfill his role? What dark feelings does he harbour? What sort of potential for anger and violence lies dormant within him? With his child in his arms, he searches for answers and finds moments of love, closeness, and happiness.
