Cvetka Sokolov’s novel for young adults deals with the theme of love. The young protagonist becomes infatuated with her teacher and the novel describes the difficulties of growing up. The text itself plays stylistically with quotes from poems and pieces of music and the heroine is characterised by the addition of other texts as well.
