Violence, pop culture, dirt, feminism and urban slums: In her debut novel, Johanna Maxl describes the life attitude of a generation. The literary album is the breathless story of the search for the mother Johanna, who disappeared for apparently no reason. Over the course of the story, in which memories of Johanna pop up, questions are asked about her disappearance. Fragments are revealed but the readers lose the ground beneath their feet just like Johanna’s children and fall into the open.
