The author visits his brother in Perth in Western Australia. There he weighs himself for the first time in years, only to find out to his horror that his current weight is 93,3kg. This realisation makes him think and he starts to ponder what else has “accumulated” and “piled up” inside him over the many years of his life. He sets out on a journey, going east, east, east. A road trip through Australia that starts with a scale and, perhaps, features a balanced and simple ending.
