For 27 years, Bato Lončar, former captain of the Yugoslav People’s Army (JNA), has been living with his wife Danica in a remote lighthouse on the Adriatic Sea. Life in the lighthouse is punishment for Bato’s refusal to attack the city of Dubrovnik with the JNA forces during the war. Danica’s miscarriage and her inability to have children also weighs heavily on the couple’s marital live. Then, one summer, Nevena and Mitar, who are going through their own marital crisis, pitch a tent near the lighthouse. A joint dinner will change everyone’s life.
