It is spring and Besson, a basket maker, comes to a small village in the wine region of Lavaux. There he meets all kinds of characters. A gravedigger, a certain Mathilde, etc. At the end of the summer, which comes to an end with the traditional winegrowers’ festival, Besson sets off again at night.
