“Das Leben: es lebe!” tells the story of Popović’s time with cancer, his saying goodbye from urban life in Zagreb and his move to a farmhouse in the countryside. There, he revisits painful memories, such as the separation from his mother, who left him behind, at the age of ten, to work as a guest worker in West Germany.
