Almost half a century has passed since Jadran’s grandfather put down roots in Istria and started a family. Now, back in his late grandfather’s house, Jadran starts to piece together his real identity and inevitably gets caught up in the Balkans’ turbulent past. It seems as if the fig tree in Jadran’s grandfather’s garden is the only thing that knows how to gracefully weather the sweeping changes around it.
