Der Richter und sein Henker

Gastmann makes a bet with his childhood friend, Bärlach as to whether it is possible to commit a crime without being prosecuted for it. It was never proven that he actually murdered their mutual friend, Nicole. Inspector Bärlach, who in the meantime has fallen terminally ill, no longer has much time to convict the master criminal Gastmann. Then another murder gave him the chance to settle old scores.
