Beogradski trio

Discord is brewing between Tito and Stalin. On the island of Goli otok, the Yugoslav authorities detain anyone they consider suspicious. Lawrence Durrell, who would later become a famous writer, ends up in Belgrade as a cultural attaché and spy for the British Embassy. He strikes up an affair with his language teacher, the wife of a prominent politician. When his lover and her husband end up in the camp, Durrell gets sucked into a risky political game.
