Agnes

They exchange their first glances in the overheated reading room of the Public Library in Chicago and their first words over coffee. One day, Agnes asks him to write a portrait of her; she wants to know what he thinks of her. It soon becomes clear that image and reality do not correspond, and that fantasy itself is gaining more and more power over their love affair.
