Irena Jordanova’s debut novel is reminiscent of two cult films – Nešto između by Srđan Karanović and Bertolucci’s The Dreamers. The protagonists Marija, Gorazd and Janes form a love triangle. The novel is about the three of them, and each of them becomes the narrator over the course of the novel’s story. A multi-layered novel that also contains a socio-critical dimension and repeatedly blurs the lines between reality, fantasy and dreams.
