Žarko Kujundžiski, born 1980 in Skopje, is a North Macedonian short story writer, novelist, essayists, playwright, poet, translator and film critic. He has published 11 books and his short stories, poems, essays and reviews have been translated into various languages and selected for many anthologies, Best European Fiction 2013, among others. His debut novel Spectator (2003) was the first ever novel in contemporary North Macedonian literature to be published in seven print run editions.
