Walter Kappacher

Walter Kappacher was born in 1938 in Salzburg and lives again in his home city as a writer. He received numerous awards for his novels Selina oder Das andere Leben (2005), Hellseher sind oft Schwarzseher (2007) and Der Fliegenpalast (2009), among others the Georg Büchner Prize in 2009. Walter Kappacher is member of the German Academy of Language and Poetry and the Bavarian Academy of Fine Arts.
