Tijan Sila

Tijan Sila, born in 1981 in Sarajevo, then still part of Yugoslavia, fled the besieged city with his family during the war and came to Germany as an emigrant in 1994. He grew up in Landau in the Palatinate, where he was also a guitarist in a punk band. After studying German and English in Heidelberg, Sila now lives in Kaiserslautern with his wife and works there as a German teacher at a vocational school.
