Sibila Petlevski

Sibila Petlevski was born in Zagreb, Croatia. She works as a poet, novelist, playwright, actress, literary critic, theatre theoretician, editor, and translator. After obtaining her doctorate in philology, she now works as a professor at the Academy of Dramatic Arts in Zagreb. Sibila Petlevski is member of Académie Mallarmé and of Académie Européenne de Poésie. She received several national and international prizes for her works. From 2001 to 2005, she was the president oft he Croatian PEN Centre, and from 2002 to 2007, a board member of the International PEN Centre.
