Raluca Antonescu

Raluca Antonescu was born in Bucharest in 1976 and came to Switzerland at the age of four. She spent part of her childhood in a German-speaking Swiss village before settling in Geneva. After training at the School of Arts and Crafts and the School of Fine Arts, she worked in the video sector and made documentary films. Her first novel L’Inondation was published in 2014, followed by Sol in 2017. In 2021, she published the book Inflorescence. She lives and works in Geneva.
