Peter Dentchev, born in 1986 in Varna, is a writer and a theatre director. For his debut, the short story Малакоф, искам да остарея he won the “Ecstasy” 2006 competition of the magazine Altera. In the following years, he won further competitions and awards with his poems and novels, including the competition “Razvitie” for the best Bulgarian novel with Тъй, както мъж целува жена, която обичаHe focuses on the history of politics and its influence on the structure of arts and society, while he is also interested in the literature of the Balkans. He was two times guest at the short story festival in Kikinda and was a writer in residence in writers’ house Trsić.
