Otto Friedrich Walter (1928-1994) was a Swiss writer and publisher. Born in Aarau in 1928, he managed his father’s Walter Verlag in Olten, then Luchterhand Verlag in Neuwied, before returning to Switzerland as a writer and journalist. His most important works include Der Stumme (1959) and Zeit des Fasans (1988). He died in 1994 in Solothurn.
