Oana Hergenröther (born in 1987 in Novi Sad), translates from Romanian into Serbian. Hergenröther translates fiction, non-fiction, historiography, sociology as well as political science texts. She is an important figure for translating, presenting and promoting contemporary Romanian storytelling in Serbia. She currently lives in Graz and is a post-doctoral researcher at the Plurilingualism Research Unit and at the Centre for Inter-American Studies, both at the University of Graz, Austria. Her research interests include literature and plurilingualism as well as contemporary American literature and culture.
