Naim Kryeziu, born in 1964 in Rogoçicë (Kosovo), studied German Language and Literature and Albanian Studies at the University of Pristhina and completed post-studies in Literary Science. In 2006 he gained his Master’s degree with a work on the topic of “Poems of Heinrich Heine translated into the Albanian language” and in 2012 gained his Ph.D. with the paper “The literary work of Heinrich Heine and his reception by the Albanians”. Naim Kryeziu lives and works in Möhlin in Switzerland. In addition to scientific texts he has published literary translations from Albanian into German and vice versa. His translations include works by Sali Bashota, Agim Vinca and Friedrich Dürrenmatt.
