Milena Ilić
Milena Ilić, born in Belgrade in 1978, studied literature. She writes poetry and short stories and also works as a literary translator (from Macedonian into Serbian). Her poetry collection Hepi mikro vumn bluz was published in 2009. For her translation of the book Poveži tačkice by North Macedonian poet Nikolina Andova Šopova, she won the poetry translation competition organised by the publishing house Treći Trg in 2016. The poetry volume was published by Treći trg in 2018. Other publications followed, including the translation of Frosina Parmakovska’s novel Countdown (Gradac, 2021), Nikolina Andova Šopova’s Neko je bio tu (Treći trg, 2021), Petar Andonovski’s Strah od varvara (Treći trg, 2022) and Vladimir Jankovski’s Skrivene želje, nemirna putovanja (Treći trg, 2022).
