Kathrin Passig, born in 1970 in Deggendorf, works as a writer and journalist. She is the editor of the blog Riesenmaschine [Giant Machine] and was for many years the director of the Zentrale Intelligenz Agentur. She won the 2006 Bachmann award in Klagenfurt.
