Jutta Treiber

Jutta Treiber, born 1949 in Oberpullendorf in Burgenland, studied German and English, and worked as a teacher of German and English. She has been a freelance author since 1988. She writes for people of all ages. Jutta Treiber’s works include picture books, children’s books, novels for young adults and adults, poetry, children’s musicals, audio dramas, short stories in various anthologies, and short films. Her books have been translated into 23 languages so far. She has received numerous awards and prizes, including the children’s book prize and the young adult book prize of the city of Vienna, as well as the Austrian young adult book prize.
