Ivan Hristov

Ivan Hristov was born in 1978 in the Bulgarian town of Borovo. He studied Bulgarian philology and completed his PhD on the topic of contemporary Bulgarian literature at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences in 2009, where he has been working since as a researcher. His first collection of poems Сбогом, деветнайсти век [Good bye, Nineteenth Century] was published in the year 2001. In 2004 it was followed by Бдин [Bdin] and Американски поеми [American History] in 2013. For his work he has received numerous accolades and awards.
